Marivon is a professional maritime learning platform based in India that provides instructor-led educational programs, professional development initiatives, and learning communities for maritime professionals worldwide.
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- All information provided by you is accurate and complete.
Marivon reserves the right to refuse registrations where inaccurate or misleading information is provided.
3. Nature of Programs
Marivon programs are intended solely for educational and professional development purposes.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Programs are discussion-based learning initiatives.
- Programs do not constitute official maritime certifications.
- No certificates of competency, attendance, or completion are issued.
- Participation does not guarantee employment, promotions, competency approvals, or regulatory recognition.
Marivon programs do not replace mandatory training requirements prescribed by employers, flag states, classification societies, or regulatory authorities.
4. Registration and Payments
All program prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe.
Enrollment is confirmed only after successful receipt of payment.
Marivon reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations where necessary for operational, security, or legal reasons.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
All purchases made through Marivon are final.
Unless otherwise expressly stated:
- Registrations are non-refundable.
- Registrations are non-cancellable.
- Failure to attend sessions does not entitle participants to refunds or credits.
- Scheduling conflicts or change of circumstances do not entitle participants to refunds.
- If Marivon cancels a program, participants may be offered an alternative batch or refund at Marivon’s sole discretion.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Marivon may, at its sole discretion, consider refund or cancellation requests in exceptional circumstances. Any such requests must be submitted to Marivon support for review. Approval or denial of such requests shall be entirely at Marivon’s discretion and shall not create any obligation or precedent for future cases.
6. Program Delivery and Changes
Programs are delivered through online platforms such as Zoom or other designated virtual learning platforms.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have:
- Stable internet access;
- Appropriate devices and software;
- Access to required communication channels.
Marivon reserves the right to modify:
- Program schedules;
- Session timings;
- Delivery methods;
- Instructors;
- Course structure;
- Learning materials;
- Community platforms;
where reasonably necessary.
Sessions are currently not recorded, and recordings are not shared with participants unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7. Community Participation
Participants may be invited to join learning communities, including Discord and WhatsApp groups.
Participants agree not to:
- Post unlawful or inappropriate content;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other participants;
- Share confidential information;
- Distribute spam or unauthorized promotions;
- Upload copyrighted material without authorization;
- Disrupt community discussions.
Marivon reserves the right to remove participants from community platforms for misconduct.
Such removal shall not entitle participants to refunds or compensation.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, materials, presentations, discussions, methodologies, and learning resources remain the exclusive property of Marivon and its instructors unless otherwise stated.
Participants may not:
- Record sessions;
- Share access links;
- Copy or distribute materials;
- Upload materials to third-party platforms;
- Use materials for commercial purposes;
- Reproduce or exploit any content without prior written permission.
Unauthorized use may result in suspension of access and legal action.
9. Educational Disclaimer
Marivon programs are intended solely for educational and professional development purposes.
Information shared during sessions, discussions, and community interactions should not be considered:
- Legal advice;
- Regulatory advice;
- Professional consultancy;
- Official maritime guidance;
- Operational instructions.
Participants remain solely responsible for exercising their own professional judgment and complying with applicable laws, regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
Training discussions are intended to supplement professional understanding and should not replace official procedures, vessel manuals, regulatory requirements, or employer guidance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marivon shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses;
- Loss of income or business opportunities;
- Employment-related decisions;
- Operational decisions made by participants;
- Technical interruptions beyond reasonable control;
- Losses arising from reliance on educational discussions or materials.
The total liability of Marivon arising from any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the relevant program.
11. Third-Party Services
Marivon may utilize third-party services including payment processors, communication platforms, analytics providers, and hosting providers.
Marivon is not responsible for interruptions, failures, policies, or actions of such third-party providers.
Use of such services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
12. Suspension and Termination

Termination shall not entitle participants to refunds or compensation.
